Product Overview

Emerging Markets and their impact on global production, consumption and trade...

The world meat market is in a state of flux. While consumer and environmental concerns are dampening demand for meat in developed countries, rising incomes in the developing countries are producing a contrary trend. Will the stabilisation or even reduction in meat consumption in the developed countries be counterbalanced by increasing demand for meat from the new, richer middle classes in China, Russia, India and Brazil? And are we witnessing a shift in the balance of power between the key producing and exporting countries?

The World Meat Market in Transition Report seeks to answer these crucial questions in a timely and detailed analysis of the world meat market. The outlook for the meat producing, processing and exporting industries are examined in this major new special report.
